Meet the Doctor

Stephen McAnaney, DDS

Philosophy of Care:  Dr. McAnaney consistently offers the very best dental care that dentistry has to offer in the United States.  Dr. McAnaney realizes that each individual person deserves only the best in both workmanship and customer service when it comes to delivering first class dental care.  He also realizes that each individual has the right to choose the level of dental care that they feel comfortable in receiving.  This is why Dr. McAnaney always allows the patient to choose from different treatment options that will best meet their needs.  Dr. McAnaney does not believe in judging, embarrassing, or talking down to any individual.  He instead embraces patient's needs and spends as much of his personal time necessary to ensure that every need is met and that each patient can feel good about the decisions that they are making.  Finally, Dr. McAnaney is devoted to making sure everyone is able to obtain the healthy beautiful smile that they are looking for and deserve.

Families and Interests:  Dr. McAnaney and his wife Von Neita have been happily married for more than thirteen years.  Von Neita is originally from Sherman.  Dr. and Mrs. McAnaney have two cats, Hershey and Thumper, and a dog named Boomer.  The Dr. and his wife enjoy boating, traveling, animals and wildlife, fishing, and a variety of outdoor sports and activities.

Community Service:  Dr. McAnaney is active in providing dental care for those less fortunate through a partnership with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission.  Dr. McAnaney donates his time and facility annually for the Smiles for Life fund raiser sponsored by the Crown Council of Dentists and Garth Brooks to raise millions of research dollars for the St. Jude's Children Hospital.  Dr. and Mrs. McAnaney are supporting members of the Texas SPCA for abandoned animals.  They also support and help fund the annual Lakefest Regatta that raises money for local foundations for children, handicapped, underprivileged, and the abused.  Finally, Dr. McAnaney is a proud sponsor of the Texoma Teacher of the Month Award which honors outstanding teachers from Texas and Oklahoma.
